Deceptive Domain Renewal Solicitations
As a domain owner, you may receive an official-looking solicitation from the Domain Registry of America. The letter, which will look like an invoice, will most likely be titled "Domain Name Expiration Notice." The intent is to cause you to transfer your domain away from our management and to a higher-cost service. At worst, you could lose ownership and control of your domain!

Unless you intend to transfer your domain to another registrar, you should ignore this deceptive advertisement! Do not reply to the letter and, certainly, do not send money! If Shoestring Solutions is your domain host, you will receive one correspondence a year regarding your domain-- a renewal charge (currently $14.95) on a Shoestring Solutions invoice.
